I am Senior Lecturer at the New Zealand Institute for Security and Crime Science, University of Waikato. My research focuses on cyber security, NATO, and the impact of science and technology on international security. I hold a Doctorate in International Relations from the University of Otago and am the author of ‘NATO’s Durability in a Post-Cold War World’ (SUNY Press: New York). I have recently been a visiting researcher at the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE) and am a recipient of the Taiwan Fellowship and US State Department’s Study of the US Institutes (SUSI) fellowship.
