Denis Kainov received his PhD in Genetics from the University of Helsinki in 2005. He performed his postdoctoral training in IGBMC, France and in CRP-Sante, Luxembourg during 2005-2009. He then returned to Finland, and worked as FIMM-EMBL group leader during 2010-2016. He is now working as senior reearcher at TUIT. His group develops novel modalities against viral diseases.
