OpenAIRE-Advance projektil on mitu eesmärki: 1) muuta avatud juurdepääs Euroopa teadustulemustele tavapäraseks praktikaks; 2) Toetada avatud juurdepääsuga andmete e-infrastruktuuride globaalset koostalitusvõimet; 3) Kaasata enam huvitatud osapooli teenuste ja kasutuselevõtu suurendamiseks 4) Pakkuda usaldusväärseid ja kindlaid teenuseid
OpenAIRE-Arvance objectives are: Objective 1 – Make Open Access to Europe’s research results the default
Strengthen the OpenAIRE Helpdesk (support and training mechanisms) on all issues related to OA and OS (legal, organizational, technical, skills) towards a broader audience that goes beyond H2020. Empower National Open Access Desks (NOADs) to become the de facto point of reference for Open Access and Open Science in their country fit to be an integral part of the emerging EOSC.
Objective 2 – Support global interoperability on Open Access data e-Infrastructures
Placing EU and OpenAIRE at the forefront, create a more seamless global view of research outputs through the collaboration of regional repository networks, aligning activities and aiming for interoperability at all levels: organizational, technical, policy.
Objective 3 – Advance OA scholarly communication infrastructure towards a scholarly commons
Encourage the community to drive the decision-making and resourcing of the scholarly communication process. Placing institutions and research communities at the forefront,, working with them to (i) bring repositories up to speed in the web era with new protocols and added value services, and (ii) explore practical ways to advance community designed and regulated OA fair publishing platforms.
Objective 4 – Engage stakeholders in a participatory process for improved services and uptake
Broaden OpenAIRE’s services outreach and actively involve all stakeholders in a co-design process (e.g. partners, researchers, institutions/libraries, funders, infrastructures innovators, educators, citizens) to help ensure that OpenAIRE’s services and products meet their needs and are usable.
Objective 5 – Provide robust services
Provide robust OpenAIRE Services for a pan-European research infrastructure portfolio and make OpenAIRE’s data usable in research assessment and a trustworthy partner for 3rd party service providers.
Objective 6 – Create a sustainable OpenAIRE governance within EOSC
Establish an operational OpenAIRE governance in a sustainable legal entity. Assist NOADs in engaging in a dialogue and active participation. Explore options of common government aspects and overlaps jointly with other key EU e-Infrastructures within the realms of EOSC.
