Tervishoiualase teadus- ja arendustegevuse toetamine

The overarching purpose of the proposed project is to foster research, utilizing a complex systems approach ─ to interrogate and integrate multiple sources in order to discover new and unanticipated paradigms at the interface of HIV/AIDS prevention and care. The formed (for the project) inter-disciplinary collaboration promotes expertise sharing across different spheres of HIV/AIDS ─ integrating systems biology studies with genetic and clinical studies (i.e. collecting new data and utilizing existing structural, social, behavioural, clinical, gene variant, epigenomic, and gene expression data). The set aim will be accomplished by collaboration of the clinical epidemiology and basic research teams to facilitate application of basic scientific discoveries in clinical and community settings (research translation). Work-package (WP) 1: Clinical epidemiology Work-package (WP) 2: Molecular epidemiology Work-package (WP) 3: Knowledge Translation and Dissemination
